With the shift from winter to spring, we are reminded everywhere of renewal: Daffodils are poking their heads up to catch the sun, the skies have shifted from grey to blue, and birdsong fills the air. It is a season of growth and new life, with endless possibilities.
Our internal world can mirror these outward changes. Dreams that were dormant all winter start to make themselves known again. We re-commit to healthy lifestyle choices. Projects we'd abandoned get picked up again with newly discovered vigor.
What are you looking to renew this spring? Whether it's your career, a hobby, or something more personal, remember that it is never too late to grow. If you're unsure of where to start, try these tips:
1. Make a list of your priorities. Are there areas that you have neglected that are nonetheless important to you? See where they fit into your hierarchy--and cut anything that no longer serves you.
2. Budget your time. We get it: Life is busy. But the only way to experience renewal is to make time for it. Do you want to start writing again? Cooking at home? Is there a yoga class you've been thinking of taking? Consider where you can shift your focus, then stick to your new schedule.
3. Follow through on your commitments. Once you've planted a seed, it still needs water and care to blossom--and so do our hobbies, careers, and dreams. Wherever you want to see yourself grow, put in the effort on a regular basis to get real results.
4. Don't get discouraged. Growth takes time. Be gentle with yourself on this new journey and let everything unfurl naturally. There's no deadline for change!
The Ink Defense family is right there with you, tending to the seeds we've planted and looking forward to renewal. We can't wait to see how you bloom this spring, so let us know what you're working on!
